Thomson Adsett has appointed architect and sustainability specialist Cameron Frazer as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Frazer comes to the firm from his role as business manager at Hayball, a position he held from 2016. Louise Cox was the interim CEO until Frazer’s appointment, and has now taken over the Chief Operating Officer role.
Frazer is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and previously held senior roles with the Australian Institute of Architects, Sustainability Victoria, the Department of Sustainability and Environment and the Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development, in Victoria.
“Cameron is well-known as a strong leader with incredible experience and expertise in leading national teams, while also applying a very astute, practical and commercial lens,” ThomsonAdsett chair Chris Townend said.
“He is incredibly passionate about the built form and the impact it plays for today and tomorrow. Cameron applies a collaborative and consultative leadership style with constant enquiry to explore new ways to translate ideas into opportunities, both for Thomson Adsett and our clients.”
Frazer said he was excited about taking up the role.
“Thomson Adsett have strong foundations from which to tackle the challenges facing all of us, and I’m very grateful and excited for the opportunity to lead a dynamic, dedicated and high-performance team,” he said.
“I feel my career to date has been leading me to this position, from my training in architecture to my leadership roles across both public and private sectors.
“As we move into a post-COVID world, we will need to continue to be creative and innovative to help our clients adjust and excel within a world that has dramatically changed.”
